1989 Porsche 944 Turbo S Grey

We all love the Porsche 944 Turbo – Porsche’s water cooled front-engine sports car from the 1980’s. And if you were to get one the one to get is the 1989 Porsche Turbo S model which was the last year but left with a bang.

The car had its hp boosted to 247 hp which took on the legendary Porsche 911 Turbo of its time and beat it especially in the handling department – back then the 911 Turbo still suffered from serious turbo lag and oversteer.

This particular car is located in western Massachusettes and needs a bit of TLC. Car has low mileage – only 80k miles and comes with the 5-speed manual. From the owner:

I just purchased this two owner original Georgia car with the intention of keeping it forever, so as you can see by the $5K upgrade paperwork and repair order, had the guys go through every small little thing to make the car a great driver and very dependable. Also shown is the initial “pre-purchase inspection”, before I purchased. I was going to buy seat covers from world upholstery, but now going to sell. As we all know the 1989 Turbo S was the best 944 to have, and the last year for this car and is complemented by bigger brakes, turbo, and higher horsepower than the earlier versions. As you can see by the pictures this car could use a bit of cosmetic attention.

Meaning the seats and dashboard are cracked and beaten to death. But if you are looking for a nice project car, nothing is nicer then fixing up what will soon be a classic.

The owner is asking $15,000.
