2004 Porsche 911 C4S Cab – Black

If you live in the Northeast like me, you really want Summer to come fast. Snowstorm after snowstorm can really wear you down. Well I think this Porsche 911 may cheer all of us up a bit.

Its a beautiful 2004 Porsche 911 C4S Cab with a matching hardtop. We all know the Porsche C4S is probably the best buy in the 996 lineup, matching the looks of the more expensive 911 Turbo but with the same 320 hp engine that all the regular Carrera’s carry. But you don’t need to worry about turbos on a 10 year old car.

What this car brings to the table is may great options on top of what you get in a regular Porsche 996 C4S. First its a cab, so you get the open road feel during the summer driving days. It also has sport exhaust which adds a nice sonorous sound with the top down. Inside you have a Terracotta interior with some choice  aluminum parts like the steering wheel and a sport shifter. Remember all this stuff was extra money when brought new. You also get sport adaptive seats.

On the outside you have the turbo twist wheels and a body color matching hardtop. This is big, cause the hardtop is not an easy option to find now for a similar Porsche 996.

Some cons will be the mileage. While low, its still in the danger zone of having the infamous IMS appear on the car. There is no note in the original ad that the current owner did any retrofit IMS bearing. Also the price is a bit high for a 996 C4S. Considering we are close to 997 prices, it makes sense the owner lowers the price a bit. But since the owner is saying he is selling due to an incoming Porsche 991, he may be an motivated seller.
