2004 Porsche 911 GT3 in Guards Red

We’ll be checking out the cars for sale at Bring a Trailer and they got some nice Porsche 911 that come down the pipe. We aren’t fans of the auction system, we prefer buying a car 1-on-1 from a seller but sometimes there’s an interesting car on BAT that catches your eye. This 2004 Porsche 911 GT3 certainly caught our eyes.

Most people only think of the Porsche 911 GT3 starting with the Porsche 997 but the Porsche 996 came out with it first. While it didn’t have the wide-body look that the Porsche 997 brought to the table later on, the Porsche 991 GT3 laid out the blueprint that all future Porsche911 GT3’s carried on including a aero kit bodywork, specially tuned suspensions, and a rip-roaring, high revving engine (the famous Mezger for the 996/997 and later a modified 9A1 for the 991).

This car is a gorgeous Guards Red with red accents in the interior and a rollbar. This car does have an incident report on the CarFax but it seems to be fully repaired. The car comes with a FVD exhaust and also comes with the stock system in the sale. The 996 GT3 comes standard with the 3.6 liters Flat-six producing 380 ponies. The car has 44,531 miles and 4 previous owners.

It’s not a perfect GT3 but it looks really tasty for use on the track, and if you can get it a good price, then more power to you on that. More details and images can be seen on the link.
