Porsche 997 GTS Cab for Sale

The Porsche 997 GTS is becoming an instant classic. With special options and the best elements from the Porsche 911 S, the GTS has been considered a great version of the Porsche 997 (outside of the hard-core GT Series).

What we have here is a beautiful silver 2011 Porsche 911 GTS convertible with low miles and a very low, low price. The price is low because of one reason – there is an accident cited on the Carfax report.

Now with this said, why should you consider this car? Well as mentioned before, its a GTS. Its a Porsche 997 that comes with the wide body of the 4-wheel drive models (i.e. Turbo, 4S). It also has extra hp, making over 400 hp. It has special trim only available with the GTS including front and rear lights and black center-lock wheels.

Now back to the report, it cites back-end accident – which for a rear-engine car is bad. But the report also says the car was drivable which tells me the accident may have been just cometic and was on the report because the owner got the car fixed at the dealer or body shop (they file a insurance claim and that is how it gets onto a CarFax). You never how how extensive the damage is, but sometimes its not as bad as reported on a CarFax. That sometimes works out for an buyer. The other positive I see is that the car is an 1-owner car, which usually is better then an multiple owner car. And the CarFax shows that this 1-owner took car of the car and got lots of maintenance and updates done including a new clutch at 15,000 miles.

So my final summary – a great car with great options. A low price. A accident report on the CarFax that may be bad or not so bad. And a well maintained Porsche 911 by 1-owner. I think this is a gamble worth looking into especially for this special type of model and the low miles.
